welcome to amta’s new student blog!

Hey massage therapy students!  We’re thilled to start this journey with you.  You’re in school, so this is your time to dig in to the nitty-gritty of massage practice.  You’re learning everything from how to build your business to professional ethics, from massage techniques to understanding injuries and special conditions.  We’ll help make sure you have the resources and support to lead you to success!

To kick things off, let’s talk about one of the upcoming highlights of the year for massage students, our annual Student Day held at the amta national convention.

This year’s Student Day is no exception, offering students career tips on:

  • preparing for the licensure exam
  • building a resume
  • learning how to prepare for job interviews
  • finding your perfect workplace
  • increasing income potential

And don’t forget about the free lunch at Student Day!  Meet students just like you, get a personal student-tour of the largest exhibit hall in the profession, and be entered to win some pretty awesome prizes!

What would your ideal Student Day look like?  Let us know!
